My mother lost her hair due to cancer treatment. 

In 2010, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I felt extremely shocked and scared, as my father had passed away from cancer when I was 8 years old. Thankfully, the surgery went well and my mother gradually recovered. However, the cancer treatment caused her to suffer from hair loss. As I had experience running a hair salon, I tried various hair growth products for my mother, but while her hair loss improved, her hair did not grow back no matter what we used. Eventually, my mother decided to use the most effective hair growth shampoo she had tried every day.

I wanted to increase my mother’s hair volume as much as possible, so I started providing scalp massages and treatments at the salon. However, my mother’s hair was still sparse, so we decided to use hair extensions specifically designed for thinning hair. We added around 3,000 strands of hair with extensions each time. My mother was happy to see her younger-looking self in the mirror after wearing extensions. However, the extensions designed for thinning hair needed to be removed and reattached every 3-4 weeks, which was time-consuming and expensive.

That’s why I decided to make a wig for my mother. I bought the exclusive rights to sell Adelans’ wigs in Los Angeles, which is a famous brand in Japan, and began selling them at the salon. Customers with thinning hair were delighted to be able to purchase high-quality Japanese wigs.
